An autumn getaway is always a treat and the fully heated and insulated Bournemouth Beach Lodges, with their stylish and contemporary décor are great for a short seaside break. Walking, surfing, cycling and nature watching are all in plentiful supply here on the Dorset coast.
Put on your walking boots and head for some bracing strolls along our stunning coast. Hengistbury Head is only an hour walk away from the Lodges to the east. Here you’ll be able to enjoy amazing views of the Isle of Wight and Solent before heading to the Hikers Café for a delicious Afternoon Tea. If you would like to go further afield, head westwards to the Jurassic Coastal Path, enjoy the spectacular scenery and maybe find a fossil or two along the way!

Watersports are of course a big feature of Bournemouth life and the autumn is the perfect time to get suited and booted and ride some waves. Hire your kit or book a lesson with the team at Surf Steps close to Boscombe Pier.
Kick up some leaves and explore one of Bournemouth’s Victorian gardens and crunch through the leaves whilst enjoying the glorious autumnal colours – oranges, russets , deep reds, dark purples, mellow yellows. The nearby Boscombe Chine Gardens are charming – you can enjoy a round of mini golf or stop off at The Squirrel Café for tea and cake.

For more autumn adventures and mesmerising panoramas and landscapes, take a short car or train journey into the New Forest and explore the ancient woodlands, idyllic glades, open moors and heathlands where ponies, cattle, donkeys and deer roam safe and free.
Alternatively, you can just chill and enjoy the tranquillity of your Lodge and its delightfully peaceful surroundings and incomparable uninterrupted sea views!
