After a gruelling third national Lockdown the incredibly popular Bournemouth Beach Lodges will fully re-open today, all 24 of the self-contained little houses by the sea are ready to welcome guests back.

Fully booked until late October, the very high standard of service will of course be maintained, albeit with several changes to ensure guest safety at all times. Every Lodge will be deep cleaned between bookings, hand sanitiser stations placed throughout the site, touch points such as door handles and gate latches will be regularly cleansed.  While the team will of course be readily available, social distancing and mask wearing regulations will be retained and guests must remain in their bubbles or groups.

Despite these differences the guest experience will still be an amazing one. Sandy Boscombe beach is literally on the Lodges’ doorstep and is perfect for play, sport, and chilling while never being too crowded. The nearby natural beauty spots of Hengistbury Head and Brownsea Island are stunning whatever the weather, while further afield The Purbecks to the west and the New Forest just across the Hampshire border are well worth a day trip. Guests can still bring their dogs and nearby bars, restaurants, surf shops and kiosks are also beginning to open up.  Meanwhile, the nearby town of Bournemouth and its neighbours, Poole and Christchurch are gradually springing back to life while always following the current Government guidelines.

Laura Gadd, Beach Lodges Manager, says “We are delighted to be finally welcoming back guests today and can’t wait for the season to get going. We are fully booked until October, but The Lodges are an amazing place to stay during the autumn and winter too and we are taking bookings well into next year. I am so proud of my amazing team who have worked tirelessly to get the whole site ready – everything is perfect, every Lodge sparklingly clean and fresh!”

Launched in 2017,The Bournemouth Beach Lodges operate all year round, including Christmas and New Year and are perfect for a three- or four-night stay at any time.  The design is cool and contemporary with a mezzanine level sleeping area, a bespoke central staircase that doubles up as shelving, modular furniture, and clever, simple storage solutions plus a spacious private wooden terrace.  Every unit has Wi-Fi, heating, a shower room and toilet, a television and a well – equipped kitchen and dogs can also enjoy the benefits of the light airy lodges and the miles of wide golden beaches.

Demand for the Bournemouth beach Lodges remains extraordinarily high but there is availability from October, over the winter and into 2022.
