How can I book?

To book a Lodge, click on the BOOK NOW button, you will then be able to check availability and prices. If it’s your first booking you will be asked to register to create an account, then you will be able to check availability. If you have any special requirements, please call or email our Customer Services Team on 01202 451781 or .

How long can I stay for?

The Lodges are available all year round for both long weekend and mid-week holiday breaks. 

Changeover days will be on Mondays and Fridays

  • Check in Friday – Check out Friday (7 nights)

What time can I check in? What time do I have to check out?

Check in: Guests are kindly asked to check in between 3.00pm and 6.30pm. If your arrival is delayed, we kindly ask you to contact the Beach Lodges Team as soon as possible.

Check out: Guests are required to vacate the Lodges by 10am on the day of departure. If you have any queries please contact the onsite Beach Lodge Manager.

What is included in the cost of my booking?

The price of your Lodge includes your accommodation, bed linen (except cot linen), towels (excluding beach towels), Wi-Fi, welcome pack with essentials and one car parking space. A courtesy Land Train service is also available to assist with your transfer to the Lodges. Once you have booked, we can advise you on everything the local area has to offer.

How many people can sleep in each Lodge?

Each Lodge, with the exception of the Accessible Lodge, can accommodate a maximum of four adults and two children plus one infant in a cot. The accessible Lodge can accommodate up to four adults and one child. A child is classed as anyone under the age of 18 years old.

Each Lodge has a kitchen area, shower room and living space which converts into one double bed and one single bed on the ground floor. There is also a double bed and a single bed on the upstairs mezzanine level with storage space.

Where can I park my car?

Free car parking can be found on Boscombe Overcliff Drive (BH5 1JB) where spaces are available on a first come first served basis. This allows easy access to the Lodges via the Manor Steps zig-zag footpath which is a 5 minute downhill walk from the Overcliff.

Alternative parking can be found on Boscombe Undercliff Drive Car Park which is a 15-minute walk from the Lodges. Please ask the Lodges staff for a parking permit to use this Car Park.

A complimentary Land Train service also operates from Boscombe Pier (opposite The Overstrand Building) to the Lodges on an hourly basis.

How frequently does the Land Train run?

On arrival days, Mondays and Fridays, the Land Train operates a complimentary service for guests departing from opposite The Overstrand building on the promenade at 1515hrs and every hour until 1815hrs.

*Please note; the Land Train will only be operational from Friday to Monday from Monday 19th February through to Monday 26th March 2018. There will be no trains running on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays during this period. This is subject to weather conditions and schedule change. 

How do I check-in?

On arrival at the Lodges, please make your way to the Beach Lodges Office where you will be welcomed by a member of the Beach Lodges Team who will provide you with your keys and show you to your Lodge. Please have your booking confirmation and the surname of the lead guest to hand.

What will I have in my Lodge?

All Lodges come with fully equipped kitchen, living space complete with sofas and dining table with seating for six, heating, shower room, towels, TV, Wi-Fi and deck furniture. One cot and highchair are available on request for each Lodge. A welcome pack containing tea, coffee, sugar and milk will be available on arrival.

Do you provide bedding?

All the beds will be made up with fresh linen when you arrive. The only bedding you will need to bring is cot linen if you require it. Should you require any additional linen, please speak to a member of the Beach Lodges Team.

I am in a wheelchair, do you offer an accessible lodge?

We offer an Accessible Lodge which can accommodate up to 4 adults and 1 child. There is access for a guest using a wheelchair throughout the ground floor. The accommodation includes a level access shower and toilet (with grab rails). A standard (non-adapted) kitchenette with electric hob, fridge and microwave. There are floor based cupboards to provide accessible storage. Within the ground floor living space a person can remain in a wheelchair and also make use of the decking area with a wheelchair accessible ramp. Can I bring my dog with me?

Only one dog will be permitted per stay in an allocated dog friendly Lodge, which must be reserved at the time of booking. There is a £20 charge per stay. As per the Bournemouth Beach Guidelines, we regret that dogs are not permitted on the beach directly opposite the lodges from the period of 1st May – 30th September. However, the nearest dog friendly beach is located only a 10-minute walk from the lodges (less than 1mile) at Fisherman’s Walk beach heading East towards Southbourne.

Do you have laundry facilities available on site?

There will be access to one washing machine and two dryers in the Laundry Room hut located next to the Beach Lodges Office. Ironing facilities are also on offer.

Can I arrive on any other day other than Monday or Friday?

Whilst we do have set arrival and departure days, should you need to cut your stay short for any reason, please let a member of the Beach Lodge Team know. 

How can I book two lodges next to each other?

During the booking process you will be asked of any special requests. Please give full details at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Can I have a group of all male / female guests?

We are a family holiday Lodge site in a peaceful beach location and would expect that guest behaviour must be suitable for the family environment. Therefore, we cannot accept bookings for Hen and Stag parties.

Can we bring our own bikes with us?

Please feel free to bring your bikes with you, there is access to cycle racks on the terrace in front of the Lodges and we kindly ask that you bring cycle locks with you. Alternatively, we offer bikes to rent on site, please contact the team on site for full details.

Can I smoke in my Lodge?

Smoking is not permitted in the Lodges (including the use of  E-cigarettes), however there is a designated area available where smoking is allowed.
